Cat's In The Cradle - Harry Chapin
Honestly, this song probably makes me cry for real.
I would like to share my list.
. "Saying Goodbye"- The Muppets
."Petals of a Rose"- Gobo Fraggle
. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"- Floyd Pepper
. "The Long and Winding Road"- The Beatles
. "Last Dance"- Donna Summer
. "How Deep is Your Love"- Bee Gees
. "I Will Always Love You"- Whitney Houston
. "Bein' Green"- Ray Charles
. "Chasing Pavements"- Adele
. "Sweet Love"- Anita Baker
. Some upbeat rap songs that I heard on the bus's radio while going to school. They made me bored.
First thing I did when I came home from Baltimore after finding out about Jerry Nelson's death a few days before: Went on Youtube and immediately went to his (Floyd's) rendition of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." And tried not to cry.
Dan Fogelberg — Same Old Lang Syne
My grandfather died around the time I fell in love with this song.
After The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson, i can never not sob when i hear "Just One Person", be it a Muppet version or no.

Annie Lennox/Herbie Hancock's cover of "Hush Hush"
"Life's a Happy Song"

Of course, there are more than a few Muppet songs that can make me cry.
Wow- I didn't realize there were that many songs that make me cry...
These songs don't necessarily make me cry, cause I seem to have some sort have inability to cry, but they bring me close.
"I Dreamed a Dream" - Les Mis
"Landslide" - Fleetwood Mac
"Cough Syrup" - Young the Giant
"The House That Built Me" - Miranda Lambert
"Just One Person" - The Muppets at Jim Henson's memorial
"Saying Goodbye" - The Muppets
"The Scientist" - Coldplay
"Fix You" - Coldplay
"Here Comes Goodbye" - Rascal Flatts
"Hometown Glory" - Adele
"In My Veins" - Andrew Belle
Adele makes songs that make people cry now? Huh, I guess she's branching out from that little pit of narcissism that Taylor Swift can't seem to ever climb out of.
The Texas Song from SpongeBob Squarepants.
Tears In Heaven- Eric Clapton
Jefferson airplane - embryonic journey
Robins version of halfway down the stairs
Pictures in my head
Abba - thank you for the music
It doesn't make me cry or sad, I don't even like the song, but since I didn't know where else to put it, the beginning of that "Dream Weaver" song is creepy.
Just had to search it up, yeah it's weird for sure and sounds like it could of been a soundtrack on the changers or somthing.
I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables, Wherever you Are from Pooh's Grand Adventure, Pictures in my Head from the Muppets, Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins (especially the Saving Mr. Banks version), His Daughter by Molly Kate Kestner, and Shattered by Trading Yesterday never fail to make me cry.
Also Tomorrow from Annie because I was in that play a few years ago, and as I was approaching the age limit, I thought it was going to be my very last play I'd ever do. Needless to say, I cried like a baby during the final rehearsal. But thank God I'm still acting today :')
And I think You're Not Sorry by Taylor Swift made me cry the first time I heard it...
Wow! I agree with I Dreamed a Dream and Feed the Birds (I LOVED Saving Mr. Banks by the way) Also...On My Own from Les Miserables gets me as well...because I well came out this year and had a crush on a boy that would never like me.
"Goin' Back" by The Byrds. It captures the mixed emotions about growing older and longing for your younger days perfectly.
I always tear up when I hear this song, because it reminds me of my late grandmother, who owned a costume shop and loved old movies. It's very nostalgic.
Concrete angel - Martina Mcbride
I think we all need a group hug from all these songs!
