Enjoy this season 1 outline.

Scene 1
Gordon welcomes the viewers to Sesame Street, and recites the alphabet with the kids.

Scene 2
Big Bird has just gotten a new kite, but he has trouble getting it up into the air. He can't figure out what the problem is, but Susan informs him that the kite is stuck under the mailbox. Susan gets the kite out from under there and leaves, but Big Bird stil has trouble getting it up.

Scene 3
Big Bird can't udnerstand why he can't get his kite to fly up in the air. Gordon explaisn that it isn't windy enough for the kite to fly.

Scene 4

Scene 6
It starts to rain, so Big Bird has to stop flying his kite. Mr. Hooper, in voice-over, announces that "Sesame Street has been brought to you today by the letters W, S, and K, and by the nubmers 8 and 9". Still images include the hippies holding the Sesame Street sign and Susna holding the Children's Television Workshop sign.
