While we'll have another thread for the commercials, this one is for discussing the big game itself.

Cast your vote and let us know your thoughts on next week's Super Bowl! What do you predict will be the final score? Discuss your predictions and give game opinions before, during and after the Super Bowl. Let's see if Muppet fans can predict the winner.

Please note the above poll will close once the Super Bowl is underway on Sunday February 1.

As an almost ten-year M*A*S*Her, Super Bowl is always a sad time, because the last five Super Bowls have dethroned the show's finale as the most-watched program in television history.

I think the best option is a meteor. Don't really like either team. NE cheats and Seattle is classless.

The only time I watched the super bowl was last year for the muppet, charlie brown, and seinfeld commercials. There is no reason for me to watch it this year, because football is not my favorite sport, though I wonder how large the ratings will be this year, though probably more than anything else will ever get in television history.

I'm a huge Patriots fan, so my pick is probably obvious, lol. I think that the Patriots have enough different weapons on offense to trip Seattle's secondary up a couple of times, and I think their defense can eliminate Seattle's receivers pretty easily and then they can worry about Marshawn Lynch. I think it will be Patriots 27, Seahawks 21.

I will refrain from comment on Deflate-Gate because I don't want to start crying.

For an event that is such a ratings grabber, I haven't seen too much hype this year. I still hope it will be evenly matched, some enjoyable commercials, and Deflate-Gate? A team as good as the Colts can come up with a better excuse than that for getting beat.

Here's the thing I don't get. If the balls are deflated and therefore easier to throw, wouldn't... I dunno, both teams benefit from that?

Each team has to supply 12 of their own footballs, so theoretically the Colts wouldn't benefit from anything the Pats did to theirs. I don't know why the NFL, a six zillion dollar industry, wouldn't have a league person handle the footballs, but I guess they want to keep a few extra bucks in their pockets.

Eh, I get it, I guess... I don't know much about sport other than the fact this has been ultra important news somehow.

I guess you'd have to have knowledge of when they switch the balls out to really get what's going on here.
