Does anyone remeber the talk 'n play learning system from Playskool? I don't remember too well, but I think when I was between the ages of five and six, I had one of my own for a short time.....or maybe I borrowed it from someone. I don't remember. Anyway, I won an auction off of ebay last week for a working set from 1984. The great thing about it was not only did the player work perfectly, but it came with these great Muppet books and tapes:
- Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street?
- A Silly Sesame Street Story: The Three Little Pigs
- Loveable Furry Old Grover in Please Don't Push the Red Button
- Bert and Ernie's Band
- Let's Play School
- Cookies for Sale
- The Muppets: Opening Day at Pepperment Park
Now I just have to find Big Bird's Alphabet Book and The Great Fraggle Travel Race, and the set will be complete for my Muppet collection. The auction also came with other books for Disney and ones that were specifically made for the learning system. Anyone else out there used to own this wonderful device.
