They were ALL married in the future...

Theodore and Eleanor were married and co-owned a very expensive, ritzy restaurant.

Simon and Jeanette were married, and both were respected Nobel Prize Winners.

Alvin and Brittany were married, were filthy rich, lived in a HUGE mansion, and had two sons, both of whom were named Alvin Jr.
Oh yeah! I remeber that episode.

No matter how old they get, they'll never stop being egotistical, lol.

That's why my favorite couple is Simon and Jeanette.:stick_out_tongue:

I simply MUST find that episode where Jeanette's a mermaid and Simon becomes a merman so they can spend the rest of their lives together, lol.

Simon's much more out-going and adventurous compared to the shy, timid, and reclusive Jeanette, meanwhile although Theodore and Eleanor both love food and love to cook, Eleanor's much more athletic and active than Theodore is. Not to mention The Chipettes are attracted to human guys as well as The Chipmunks become attracted to human girls occasionally.
So what? Fleshing out the characters is okay, for every relationship--even a perfectly matched one--needs some variety!
