Anyone remember the counting circus guy?

It was the cartoon series about numbers.

The sketches I remembered are 4 Lions, 7 Seals, 8 Penguins, 9 Elephants, 10 Dancing Bears, 11 Puppies and 12 Finches.

I remembered watching #7 in the year 2000.

I got #10 on my first family tape.

Of course I remember the Ringmaster! The one and only sketch I never saw was the number 1, though I placed 1 jumping juggler in that act's spot in my mind. The red numbers, up to 12, would be placed into a 4 by 3 grid of yellow squares divided by blue lines. First, we would see a grouping of small red balls in a formation similar to those of dominoes, then the number, then the entire set of numbers with the specific number thrown into its spot, and then the Ringmaster would announce the act. This order was inverted during the close of the sketch, and sound effects were added most recently added to let us know when each number was placed in the grid. The numbered acts are as follows:
2- Two silver snakes serenaded by a silver saxophone.
3- Three falling felines in a death-defying drop into a bucket of water.
4- Four roaring lions inside their majestic mountain cage.
5- Five flying fools, or clowns catapulted by the human cannons.
6- Six mischievous monkeys perform small magic tricks inside their monkey barrel.
7- Seven swimming seals, within their watery pool, steal the spotlight.
8- Eight performing penguins imperiously ice skate upon the frozen surface before returning into their igloo.
9- Nine proud pachyderms practice their pyramid formations.
10- Ten brown bears bravely balance each other as they pass before our eyes.
11- Eleven purple pooches put on a show of canine capers as a pack before retreating into their doghouse.
12- Twelve fine-feathered finches fly into fanciful formations until they come back to their nest inside the Ringmaster's top hat.

Hop3e this helps and have a Happy Holidays from my Castle of Dark Illusions!

Now I think while some of these were shown quite frequently, others were quite rare.

And also, there probably was no version for number 1. I've noticed that with all the number series, such as this, the pinball machine, and the jazzy spies. I think the baker did one for number 1, but was very rare.

I remember this, as well as the circus music,
very well. They drew the ringmaster very lithe,
bald and earless and yes, he had a big voice.
Interesting thing to share: the "three falling
felines" you mention flew into the air from a
cannon. They entered it and one of them lit
the fuse, which I found so cool, it began for
me a passion for cannons that lasted awhile
when I was little. I waited to see this
animation for ages (I was five at the time,
late 1984 or 1985) but they never aired it for
me to see again!

I didn't really like how that ringmaster was always whipping everything. He whipped the seals, the finches, and even the poor fools. Whipping actual people isn't right!

I last saw two of those sketches in Season 31: Three frisky felines, and six marvelous monkeys.
