In the late 70’s and early 80’s, Hallmark Cards and Ambassador Cards started producing Muppet greeting cards. They featured everyone’s favorite Muppets, including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie the Bear, Gonzo, etc.

Probably the most popular cards were for birthdays. But Muppet greeting cards were also produced for most every holiday imagined. The one thing they all had in common was the “A Jim Henson Muppet Puppet Card” logo on the back of each card.

When I was growing up, all of my family and friends knew I was a huge Muppet fan. So most birthdays and major holidays, I would receive a Muppet card in the mail or on top of my gift. Fortunately, I had the sense to save most of those cards and collect others over the years. I now have amassed quite a collection.

Receiving a Muppet card always brought a smile to my face. Now I would like to share my collection with all of you and hopefully, others of you will share your pictures and stories on this thread as well. Please comment, reply, and “like” this thread if you share my enthusiasm for Muppet greeting cards. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

Here are some Muppet greeting cards from the company American Greetings. I believe these cards came out in 1992 and 1993 and was under the title "Forget Me Not" series. I don't have all the cards in this series, but am still working on collecting them. Here are a few pictures links:
