Sounds like a plan, there's a nice variety of favourites in there.
Nice list of figures, but may I recommend putting Scooter in too. If the set is like The Muppet Theatre and backstage, it would make sense for Kermit to have his friend and gopher by him.
True. Now we have
Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal, Beaker
Walter, Constantine (maybe)
Ones that Get ignored:
Sweetums, Rowlf, Honeydew, Scooter
Id hate to be a pain but if not too much trouble can we have Walter as well please?
I might make Constantine too.
Yeah it'd be a good idea, what about Waldorf and statler I mean you can't have a muppet theater without those two right?
Its because it came in a special tin to promote the release of the Lego Movie. The set pieces are nothing special (though it comes with most of the main characters from the movie). It went to Lego fan site runners and media outlets...I think.
Mine craft sets are about $39 a piece but they are expanding it into larger sets so I do believe one will come out at $100 or so. To my Knowledge that is the only Cuusoo set that has more than 1 set released.
So, revised minifigure list
Statler, Waldorf, Walter, Animal, Beaker, Honeydew, Dr. Teeth, Janice, Floyd, and Chickens! (not techinally minifigs)
Don't forget Scooter on that list
And Scooter, Walter and Constantine
Though as mentioned a few pages back, you really shouldn't go overboard on mini figs, maybe you should cut a few?
Yeah, I'll remove most of the Electric Mayhem. (Keeping Animal and Dr. Teeth)
Perhaps when you present this you can give a list and display of must have minifigures (maybe 5) and then show the others as optional...or do a poll on Ideas similar to what happened with Dr. Who (or what you did at the top of the page).
Yeah! Good idea!!! I'll have to wait until September to publish it to Lego Ideas (need birthday monies)
Here's my list of stuff (help me prioritize):

I think Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy, Gonzo, and animal are a must.....all others would appeal to Muppet fans, but Lego will want a set that has a wider range of recognizably...that being said the core set is either the stage/theater or the back stag...or both (which is kind of where you are going).....I wish we knew why some sets get rejected and some don't...it is hard to tell what Lego wants once you get past the 10,000 vote stage.
Chickens are cool too....
I'm replying to your first reply. Long texts on mobile don't go too well. If you looked at the Execl Doc, most of the minifigs are attached to a location, like a free buliding game. Ex. Simpsons Tapped Out. Now, I can remove sone of the sets, and add some generic ones. But, I was thinking about maybe 10 figures.
Here are figures I'm marking as non removable:
First Mate Piggy, Captain Link Hogthrob, Dr. Julis Strangepork, Gonzo, Animal, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker, Statler, Waldorf, Kermit and Fozzie, maybe Rowlf
Making 13 (12 if you don't count Rowlf)
Separate names with a comma.
