I was watching a Swedish Chef video the other day, and the translation was on. Boy, THAT was weird.

Am I the only one who thinks it's pointless to have a politician approve their own message when they're talking to the camera? I mean, we ALL know you support the dang message, you're talking to the camera. It's not like you're gonna say 'Yeah, I was in the commercial but I didn't approve of what was said.......by me'

Am I the only one who thought Frank TV had more potential to at least last another season? I thought it was pretty good, could have used a little tweaking here and there, and it probably could have lasted a short while.

Reading that thread about the kid not knowing who Big Bird was, and how it went into people mistaking the genders of characters, I started thinking.

Am I the only one who finds it a tad creepy that Tweety, a BOY, is frequently depicted wearing make up on merchandise for women?

YES! YES! A Billion times yes! I've always hated that. It's like someone said, "let's forget about the wonderful legacy of an innocent looking violent cartoon character, completely abandon his comedic roots and his comedy partner Sylvester, and turn him into Hello Kitty." I mean I'm mixed about how they overuse Taz on everything since he was barely in LT shorts (I think that's Eddie Seltzer's fault), but became really popular in the 80's (for some reason)and in 90's when he got his own cartoon series.

And here's something... Where the heck is the Daffy Duck merchandise?

Am I the only one who thinks there's a little TOO much muffining around MC lately? I mean, I'm all for muffining myself, I'm one of the worst offenders that's for dang sure, but it just seems like anymore almost every single thread around here is shown no mercy.
