I'm just stunned by the comments from Republicans and conservatives on that article actually siding with CNN and liberals for once on this. I mean, they were willing to fight to the death for pedophile Roy Moore in Alabama, but I guess even they will draw the line at denying the Holocaust (even though a lot of them still aren't exactly kind to Jews either, as Arthur Jones so blatantly displays here).

I think it was more they were willing to fight against the pro choice candidate. Plus Moore didn't come across as downright nasty as this guy. Plus even if Moore was guilty, which he probably was, the timing of the accusations in the press did look suspicious. Bottom line, both parties don't trust each other and don't really give each other any reason to.

Heck, “liberal” is basically a right-wingers’s code word for Jew. “Those liberals in Hollywood!” “That liberal media!” Everyone knows what that really means.

I . . . think that's stretching it a little . . . "liberal" seems to be a blanket term they use for everybody who doesn't conform to their way of life.

I mean, I could say the same thing with the word "conservative."

I've been thinking about how Bubblehead Bachmmann is always urging parents not to let kids watch THE LION KING because the songs were done by a gay man . . . I suppose she's completely oblivious to the fact that Timon was also voiced by a gay man, so I guess that makes the movie doubly evil by her logic.

It's not a coincidence that the majority of Jewish people, African Americans, gay people, etc. are what would be considered liberal. As it becomes more and more unfashionable to bash these groups, liberal-bashing becomes the norm for right-wingers with a little wink and nod here and there.

Mainly because liberals are really the only ones who accept these people and treat them with diginity and humanity.

I mean, just look at this feud that's going on right now with the gay Olympian and Pence. He calls Pence out on his homophobia and bigotry in an interview, and Pence is like, "Oh no you dih-ant, gurlfriend! Come up here and say that to mah face!"

Sometimes. Other times, liberals simply use their groups as their cause, rather than their friends.

That has been my observation. It's like how everything bad right now is somehow automatically "socialism" or, alternately, everything is "racism."

For some reason, though, the white supremacists and anti-Semites are attracted to the modern Republican Party; not the modern Democratic Party.

    Hardly.

For some reason? The Republican Party is the party that lines up with their agendas. David Duke is even the one who keeps saying that these KKK rallies have been trying to carry out Trump's MAGA promise. "Liberal" may be interpreted as their codeword for "Jew," or whatever, but it's even more clear that the "great" in MAGA is codeword for "white."

A long time ago, high up in a forest in the Alps, there lived a pack of friars. These friars were known for the beautiful flowers they grew, and every spring people ventured up the mountain to enjoy and purchase some of the beauties that had been grown the previous year.

One year, however, something dreadful happened. A mother had brought her little boy with her to see the flowers. She saw a beautiful orchid she liked and turned her back but for an instant - when she turned around again, her boy was gone. She called out his name, but to no avail. The people searched through the mountains, but the boy was never seen nor heard from again.

The next spring, another woman brought her little girl with her. Turning her back once to look at a pair of 'mums, she was horrified to find her daughter missing. As before, calling out her name and searching for her was in vain - she was never seen again.

The next spring, a father took his two twins with him. The father wasn't big on flowers; he'd only come up to buy something nice for his sickly wife. He was, however, big on cider - and in filling up his cup, never saw his kids again.

By this time, the people at the bottom of the mountain were getting rather worried about the practices of these friars, but no one had any proof that they were the cause of the disappearance of these children. However, there was a stranger at the pub one night when he heard the story being told. His name was Hugh - born a sickly lad, but through hard work and determination had built up his body and was a reliable and dependable fellow who would never let you down.

Hugh realized that something wrong was going on with these friars, and he decided to investigate. Climbing up the mountain one day when the friars were away looking for some rare plants grown in the Alps, he broke into the cottage. After some searching, Hugh was horrified to find the bones of five young children - one too much, according to the stories. He realized that the friars were actually insane cannibals who had an appetite for children. That's when he heard the door open.

Hugh hid behind a closet as the three men went in. He knew what he had to do, and he waited for the perfect moment to do it....

No one ever knew what exactly went on inside that cottage that day, but when Hugh returned back down the mountain, no one going up ever saw or heard from the friars again. They had vanished. Some speculated that Hugh had killed them all, some thought he'd run them out, and others stated they thought he was a cannibal himself and had feasted on their flesh himself.

At the end of the day, however, if something like this ever becomes a problem where you live, just remember that only Hugh can stop a forest friar.

Oh it's a criticism that's been around for a long time. It was addressed on All in the Family for instance.

And there are left extremists who are attracted to the Democratic party rather than the Republican party.

If it comes down to the extreme left vs. the extreme right, I'm going to follow America's lead during WWII and give my support accordingly.

Well we talked about that. America’s lead was “we care now that it directly affects us.” Heck, America was cool with eugenics before WWII and you can still see hints of it today. NASA had no problem working with a couple Nazis after the war. There’s been a lot of white washing of history. Even the people who did fight for moral reasons wouldn’t have all considered themselves left wing.

Whatever the motivation, I don't think America defeated the Nazis in WWII just to voluntarily hand the country over to them today.

I'd... Change that last bit to "bigoted white Americans" to whoever made that.
