The "What Made You Smile Today?" thread

*ahem* Today I went on a spree, organized my DVDs and videotapes, threw out a bunch of unlabeled tapes, and made a lot of sorely-needed shelf space. That gave ma quite a sense of accomplishment, leading to a smile.

I also cooked and ate an oven roast. Well, I cooked it all, but I only ate part. In fact, that roast was partly responsible for how much I got done, as it took over an hour longer than I expected, and I spent that time with my tapes and DVDs.

I HAVE A JOB!!!!! THANK THE LORD!!!!!!!!!

Granted, it's only part-time, but I have a job and it pays fairly well to boot, at a place which I really like. Yaaaaaaa!

Woohoo! Today I did my kickoff run...the first one in a while....and it actually went great! Phew, I was worried I'd be out of practice. Here's to many more! Onward with training!

My library finally decided to let me buy "Of Muppets and Men"!!
They didn't have a price though, becuase they bought it years ago. They said the average price they charge for a book is $20. It's a great addition for my Muppet collection.

Right on! Coming from someone who worked in the city library for 5 years....before it drove me crazy and I had to go scream somewhere....I can tell you that they let you get away with that is a fanstic steal! Congrats! Go kiss that librarian on the cheek. They deserve it!

I had to go to the doctor today to get some new prescriptions, but I had a pleasant surprise to see I have apparently dropped a significant amount of weight, when I had thtought I was actually back up; at the present time, from where I was originally, I'm now down about 21 pounds.
