Yeah, but do you get paid for it? :p
  2. Slackbot Well-Known Member

It's part of my job, so yes.
  3. D'Snowth Well-Known Member

So you can actually get paid to watch people sign their signatures on pieces of paper? I might want to look into that then...
  4. Slackbot Well-Known Member

    Whatever.

Today my office building had a tenant appreciation lunch. An awesome, catered barbecue buffet. Mmmmm!

As of tonight, the nights are going to gradually start getting longer and longer. Yay, I hatez DST... it still being daylight at 9:00pm is un-natural. It already being dark at 6:00pm is OK BY ME.

I just won tickets to an advance screening of The Amazing Spider-Man!
  8. Hubert Well-Known Member

But it is kinda nice that it's still daylight at 9. It makes you be able to actually be able to do stuff in the evening. And DST doesn't make that big difference: it's actually the way that the sun and earth and stuff are lined up.

Ehh, it makes the days feel way too long when it's still daylight at 9pm. Besides, I like it dark, so yeah, looking forward to the nights getting longer.

I like it being light out because I can actually see when I walk my dog at 9pm
  11. Hubert Well-Known Member

See, I hate it when it gets dark. The whole everywhere just seems to have a gloomier feeling about it. I especially like it being light out late because then on days like lately (we've been having a bit of a heat wave), I can actually go and sit outside and not have to be in my house all night. (I know, I could go out in the dark, but I just don't like doing that)

    Congrats dude, where?
  13. Muppet fan 123 Well-Known Member

In an AMC in my city, it doesn't mean much but it's cool I can see it before the rest of the world. I also won The Muppets before it came out.... I've won a couple of tickets to different movies in the past.

Every Friday night this summer, a local church is having Family Movie Night outside. And in July, one of their movies lined up is the new Muppet movie!

Wow, thats pretty cool. I wish my town had something like that. Closest thing are the weekly movies my college shows, but thats not during the summer :p

Another thing that made me smile: I just started getting Disney Junior today.

I finally got done my History homework! And it only took me 5 hours!

I'm in a slightly better mood. History just makes me crabby :p
