THIS WEATHER MAKES ME EXTREMELY HAPPY! CAN'T YOU GUYS TELL?
I'm with you on that. It's nice and cool and it rained all afternoon.
I just watched Miyazaki's Spirited Away. What a lovely film, and an excellent dub.
While I watched the movie I made a dozen yards or so of puppet hair. It didn't take my attention from the film, as it's simple chain crocheting, and my fingers can do that on automatic pilot.
We had a very beautiful blue sky in the State of Delaware today.
Neat, where'd you learn how to do that?
Have been on a Dave Stewart kick this last week and have been going through my record collection pulling out all my Dave stuff including some things i haven't listened to in years and playing it all...and then after having done so found out Dave was featured in the latest edition of Record Collector magazine.
How'd I learn to do a crochet chain? I dunno, I thought that was something every kid picked up early on. Using it as puppet hair? Part desperation, seeing as the proper really thock yarn doesn't seem to exist anywhere, and part remembering Ma Gorg's hair. Her hair strands are so thick, and the texture makes me think they're crochet chains.
This puppet hair is double-chained, meaning I made a chain, and then I made the chain into a chain, so it's really thick.
Yea I meant more the hair thing. Cool.
EVERYTHING! I feel like everything in life is magic!

I finished another puppet. Well, I still have some more seam-picking and detail-fiddling to do, and now I have to clothe it, but I can still look at it and go "Dang, that isn't half bad!"
I think I know who it is..... Maybe. If so, from what I saw, he/she looks AWESOME!
The RAVENS kicking Cowboy booty!! WOO!
So...my school's select chorus (the chorus for THE best singers in my school) is singing "Imagine" by John Lennon for some anti-bullying thing next Friday.....AND I GOT A SOLO!! I'm so nervous ('cause I'm gonna be performing in front of the entire school and administration) but I'm so excited!
Will anyone be shooing the video?
Yay that's so exciting! I'm sure you will do fine!
I'm actually not sure... But thank you guys!
Minor to you guys but it made me smile.
I saw the doctor this morning & once again my tests for diabetes were negative! (The doctor & my mom were SO proud of me!)
This next part will make you laugh :
I was playing "Wheel Of Fortune " on Facebook. So the puzzle was Fictional Character: The puzzle went like this:
- - - - - - - -
- - - -
I usually do the R's S's T's L's first My puzzle started looking like this:
- - R- - T T --
- R - -
I pretty much had a good idea what (or in this case who) it was .But JUST in case, I put a "K" in . .It was there! So I filled it all in(where's there a *smug* smiley when you need it?) and I answered it:
KERMIT THE FROG
Wow that's so good to hear the diabetes test was negative!! My dad has it and my grandma struggled with it for most of her life. So it hits a personal chord with me.
The women on my dad's side of the family had it. Plus I'm ...er..... big... bo... OK,OK...overweight. .So I have a double whammy against me. I'm trying to fight getting it every step of the way though. I've been walking every day (or at least trying to when I'm feeling okay. Last week into this week my head's been hurting & painkillers aren't helping much.)
