Hey.

Uh...my baby likes Elmo. A LOT. Has anyone seen any Elmo posters recently? It seems like just yesterday I was seeing the Elmo's World posters all over the place, but now that I've started looking for it, it's nowhere to be found.

I should probably check eBay, eh?

The things we do for our pups.

He also loves Cookie Monster and Kermit though, so that's not ALL bad, eh?

He he!

You should get the Elmo's World doll! That thing is funny!

"Guess what Elmo's thinking about today! Ya da da da! Elmo's thinking about bananas!"

He he!

My guess is you'd burn that thing within a week!

But it's still funny!

I'm a big fan of battery-free toys. I got my daughter a plain old ordinary Elmo plush. It doesn't sing, dance or giggle, but she loves it and it doesn't get on my nerves.

Sesame Street posters are available at a lot of poster stores. I'd try K-mart or poster stores at the mall. Online you can get them at www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?aid=113449

They have one Elmo poster, but also some of more of the cast with numbers and letters.

Thanks for the assist (and the mockery) folks--I ended up buying one on eBay this morning.

I got a really nice one that's a photo of Big Bird, Elmo, Grover, Cookie Monster, Bert, Ernie, Oscar, and Zoe, with the Sesame Street Sign. Looks like it's really high quality. A little more than I was looking to pay, but it'll broaden his horizons a little bit.

I'll post a link to the image later--it's VERY nice.

Thanks again!

Same here...the only battery-op doll we have is the Magic Talking Kermit from a few years ago--and that's MINE! Sometimes we let Miles play with it, but he prefers the non-battery ones because they're more cuddly.

And have you seen the potato-sack racing Elmo & Cookie Monster?

Those are downright SCARY!!!
