Miss Piggy will be making an appearance on Fashion Police on E! tonight at 9 pm central, 10 pm eastern. She'll be reunited with old friend Joan Rivers from The Muppets Take Manhattan.

    Here's a teaser pic...

I already have a complaint: Joan Rivers didn't co-star with Miss Piggy on any movie. She made a cameo appearance. Unless she originally was a star, but then they deleted all her scenes except one.

I'll catch it online I'm watching MTM at the moment. Lol!

Did you do that on purpose, specifically to prepare for the appearance with the first time Joan Rivers and Miss Piggy were in a scene together?:)

    Best lines from Fashion Police:
Joan to Piggy: "Love the new snout
Piggy to Joan: "love yours too"
    Joan to Piggy: "which one?"

    ... Piggy to Joan:
"Have some dignity. Or did that get sucked out during your last lypo?"

    Piggy to Joan:
"Is this going to turn into a pig joke? Cause I did not come in here armed with a bunch of dinosaur jokes"

Saw the appearance, had me laughing with all the catty back and forth between  and Joan. And yes, her scenes did get deleted because Joan's part as Eileen got cut when TMTM aired on The Hub, dunno why though.

If you missed it, here's a recap.
When the break was over, Piggy was sitting next to Joan. Joan said she had the one girl who had more frogs in her throat than her, and introduced her. Joan mentioned they haven't seen each other since MTM, which was 84 years ago, and Piggy said she hasn't changed. They then showed the clip of Joan and Piggy in MTM. Joan said she got a new snout and Piggy asked which one. Then Joan talked about style, best carpet look and worst look. Piggy said she hasn't had a bad look but then the Screen showed a pic of Miss Piggy looking very hideous indeed. Piggy said "Who gave her that picture? Joan, you're fired!" Then Joan held up a sign that said "Streetwalker". Joan asked her if she lived in a house of straw, wood or bricks. Piggy said Joan should graduate to adult books. Then Joan took a step up and called her a b@#$%. Piggy said that Joan wasn't sucked out of lypo. Joan asked if she wanted to have to have children and Piggy said there was only one frog. THEN Joan showed her a pic of Kermit and Lady Gaga kissing. Piggy told them Kermit said it was photoshopped. Joan said when she went to a football game and she saw what they kicked and Piggy asked if this was going to lead to another pig joke because she didn't come armed with a bunch of dinosaur jokes. Then Joan said to look out for them in the new movie The Muppets Take Beniva. Overall rating frog 1 to 10: 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. I'm serious.

Actually no it was pure coincidence. Lol!! Even more ironically I was at the Joan Rivers scene the same time Fashion Police came on. Lol!

Erm, Warldorf, you might want to reread your post while trying to fix all the errors contained therein.

    Another good couple of lines...
Joan: Do you live in a house of straw? Or wood? Or bricks?
Piggy: You need to graduate to adult books dearie.

Sorry, forgot that part. I was just lying in bed jotting down notes and typing them down and I guess I missed that. Thanks.

It's not just that you may have missed certain pieces of dialogue or banter between the duo, it's that your entire post seems like a hastily pasted-together jumble. Which is why I'm encouraging you to read it again so you can still edit the post in order to have it sound more coherent.

    Hope this helps.

One of the best Piggy interviews I've seen. This is right up there with the Johnny Carson interview for (ironically) TMTM. And Piggy's reaction to Joan calling her "a b*tch" is priceless!

i thought she was great! i wonder if this was taped like last week or something

one thing i will say though- would it be that hard to just pull out a table in front of them when they do these things so they can move a little better? i notice this when they have kermit on some of these talk shows too, it seems like it's kind of awkward to position them in the chairs and stuff. and now they have to have piggy wear that big skirt for that reason

but if i remember correctly, they didn't use to bother with that, they'd always just show up behind the desk, and that seemed to make it much easier for them to move and everything. when they're on the view or when piggy was on the talk it seems much more freeing for them

Yeah, but here the shoes were an important part of the outfit I think, and although they have more movement and life the other way, this gives a fantastic surprise..."Hey, I'm wearing shoes..." Wait, what!?

Although she could have been behind a desk saying, "I'm wearing Jimmy Choos" and the camera DOESN'T pan down and that would be fun as well :p

yeah, the shoes were very cute, but i personally think the movement and life part should win out every time on these kinds of things

Ha ha, another great Classic Piggy appearance! Loved the banter between the two old ladies, it's like they'd never been apart. ;) Good stuff, although I didn't care too much for the rest of the show, well, besides Joan's one-liner zingers of course! :D

    The Count Moderator Staff Member

Yeah, well that's the only reason to watch the show... Joan's oneliner zingers.
Glad that this appearance continues the long proud tradition of Muppets showing up on Joan Rivers's fashion review programs on E!
*Remembers the 1995 Oscar fashion review where :grouchy: appeared at the very end during the credit roll.

This appearance was just ok for me. I don't mind playful banter as Piggy can dish it out as good as anybody, but this just felt mean to me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the conversation just didn't go anywhere, it didn't have a purpose. Other than Joan asking about her fashion style there was no other substance, just a bunch of insults (instigated by Joan) thrown together. A couple of funny moments, but not my favorite appearance for sure.

Meh, it's what's become E!'s style, gossipy and edging on that risque-factor. At least this was slightly better than her appearance on the Chelsey Handler show from back in November 2011. Though it made :boo: and  on The Soup all the greater because the hecklers are better suited for that kind of comedy.
