Yes, you read that right this is an untitled fanfic. Although it does have some fairly cool scenes. Just don't expect it to be as good as most of the other fanfics on here, as this is just my first fanfic.

Part 1

I glanced over at Maggie as we entered the Muppet Theater. It was now or never. As we walked past a door left slightly ajar, we could hear the voice of the bass player of the Electric Mayhem sing:

You're my angel
Come and save me tonight
you're my angel
Come and make it alright
Come and save me tonight

"If only we sounded half as awesome for our audition," I started to say.
"We will sound half as awesome. As a matter of fact, we'll sound just as great." Mags seemed much more confident than I was. It wasn't long until we came across a familiar pig with blond hair and sky blue eyes.

Chapter 2

"What are vous doing here?" Miss Piggy demanded.

"I'm Aly, and this is my dog, Maggie. We would like to audition to join the Muppets," I introduced us.

"How...cute," she replied insincerely.

"What's going on?" Kermit walked towards us.

"Nothing, Kermie," Miss Piggy told him.

"Who are they?"

I introduced us before the diva could respond.

"Sorry, girls," Kermit told us, "but we're not holding auditions right now." By now, there was a large crowd of Muppets gathered around trying to see what the commotion was all about.

"Uncle Kermit, they deserve a chance," Robin said sweetly.

"Yeah, what if you didn't give us a chance?" I wasn't sure who said that.

With everybody agreeing, it would have been hard for Kermit to deny us a chance. I opened my flip-folder to the sheet music to the classic Muppet song and played my clarinet as Maggie began to sing:

Why are there so many songs about rainbows
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Who said that every wish would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that, and someone believed it,
And look what it's done so far.
What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing
And what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.
All of us under its spell,
We know that it's probably magic...
... Have you been half asleep? And have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
... Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
The voice might be one and the same
I've heard it too many times to ignore it
It's something that I'm supposed to be...
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

Chapter Three

I was surprised by everyone's reaction. As much as she tried to hide her true opinions, even Miss Piggy smiled. Maggie received a hug from Animal, and I felt like I was dreaming as Scooter was shaking my hand and saying, "Welcome to the team."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two days later, Mags and I were rehearsing our lines for today's episode of the Muppet Show when Floyd called me to join him and the rest of the band for the theme song. I hadn't even ever tried to play the theme song on my clarinet, and they expected me to do it in front of an audience. Floyd, noticing how nervous I was, handed me some sheet music and said, "Don't worry. You'll be fine." Apparently he didn't hear me while I was working on learning "Rainbow Connection" for our audition.
It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.
It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight.
Why do we always come here
I guess we'll never know
It's like a kind of torture
To have to watch the show
And now let's get things started
Why don't you get things started
It's time to get things started
On the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational
This is what we call the Muppet Show!
I made a few mistakes, but because it was just my first time, the band seemed to forgive me. They made me feel that I truly had a place in the world.
