To celebrate 50 years of ITV the network will be showing several tribute shows, including ITV's Best Ever Ads, Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon and What Did ITV Do For Me?

But for Muppet fans, the shows below should be worth watching:

ITV's 50 Greatest Shows (Sat 10th Sept 19:00)
Cat Deeley and Phillip Schofield host a star-studded celebration of 50 fabulous years of ITV, counting down to the programme which viewers have voted the greatest ITV show of all time. Stars like Sir David Jason, Dame Helen Mirren, Robson Green, Michael Parkinson, John Hurt, Ant and Dec, KERMIT THE FROG, and the casts of Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Cold Feet give the inside stories on all the shows we've come to know and love.

Avenue of the Stars - 50 Years of ITV - Sun 18th Sept (20:00)
Live spectacular marking ITV's 50th birthday and launching the Avenue of the Stars, a London walkway honouring outstanding achievement within the performing arts. Hosted by Chris Tarrant, it features performances by Queen, Charlotte Church, Robin Gibb and Status Quo, and special appearances by Ant and Dec, MISS PIGGY, Billy Connolly and the stars of Corrie. Inaugural recipients of the Avenue Star include Lord Olivier and Helen Mirren.
