OK, so now the two bonus DVD's are bonus material and not the animated series?

    Aye-yi-yi...

I like the box, as it features all five of the characters for once. Hopefully the information about the bonus features will be pinned down soon.

If this doesn't have the animated series like they said it would, I might pass. Unless it's cheaper to get the box anyway.

I like it!! It's bright, it's fun, it's colourful , just like fraggle rock!

As a collectors item, I'm sure I'll get it. I like how all three logos are being used. The old round rarely seen since the 80's logo, the new 30th logo on the front and the usual logo on the side.

The key ring looks more like one of those clipper toys, the arms are like a clothes peg to clip it on a curtain type thing?? Since when did red have eyelids?? ( unless she's sleepy or ill) :)

If i buy this thing, it'll be because they've got some knock-your-socks off extras and Boober pops out of the box set to wash the socks.

It's a nice box, don't get me wrong, I just don't want to invest more money in this series again if I have essentially everything.

It's great to keep the property alive in reissues, but it is entirely unnecessary for fans to double-dip. This is just an attempt to keep the brand strong and relevant while they try to get the Fraggle movie off the ground. It's a good thing.

Agreed. If there's one thing I hate, it's when DVD rights lapse the second I get the cash to actually buy it. I forever hate Sony for releasing a super duper deluxe Transformers animated movie, only to stop printing it in a matter of months. I don't see why SHOUT doesn't just rerelease the movie with the same features to keep it in print... but for every one that has the entire HiT/Lionsgate complete set in batches or the big set, some of us didn't get to grab it in time. It's a Frogsend that someone else got the rights to keep the property up, and not let Lionsgate let it expire... and then freak the crap out when someone posts something on Youtube.

    *&^% Lionsgate.

I saw the first kiddy DVD, "Meet The Fraggles," yesterday at Target.

    Just floating that out there.

I'm not buying a Kiddy disk for 10 bucks, especially since I have most of the episodes.

That said, someone has to have seen or picked up the Complete series set re-release. Unless it was delayed or something.

It's out, a Facebook friend of mine posted a picture of the box that he bought. Though I haven't seen any unboxing videos on YouTube or anything of that nature.

Does he know what the box set contains? I just wanna know if the animated series is really included or not, and if we have the same or different bonus features from the last time. I never managed to get anything past the first season, and I wouldn't mind double dipping if it's more cost effective.

Plus, I need that comic book that comes with it.

  13. Gah! Looking at the box set, makes me realize I made a big mistake. I was asked to draw the comic for it, and I wonder now if I could've asked to have the box sent to me as payment! (or if I would've gotten one even if I didn't ask). But I had to pass it up cause i didn't have the time. But looking at this... I SHOULD'VE MADE THE TIME FOR IT!!!!

    I'm dumb!

And I've been using Netflix to get my fraggle fix, and now the seasons have been yanked! Booo!!!

In case you know, who did they get instead? I've enjoyed all the artists from the Fraggle Rock comics. I wonder if they got any of them back.

I believe the art is by Nicol Ashworth. She drew a story in one of the Fraggle comics. It was the one in which Red challenged everyone to an eating contest.

  16. Oh that's cool news! The free comic book day Fraggle story from 2010 was written by Nichol (and drawn by me). Shes very multi-talented! (and super nice)

Yes, "Boober the Doozer." That was the first Fraggle comic I saw, and it got me interested in what else Archaia had to offer. So, it did its job. :)

You were the artist while Nichol worte the stories? Wow! When I was reading those stories and looking at those shetches and the colors of the backgrounds. I was blown away! I don't know when I will come back to these comics but maybe when I am not so busy with school.

Otherwise, there will be one day that you may want to come back to art and work with a talented FR writer (I am not 100% sure if it will be Nichols). Just sayin!' (shrugs)

  19. Finally got this boxset! I had no idea that it included all the cartoon series as an extra! whoa.
