system of a down is a cool band that i like to listen to when i'm running. the b-52's totally rock. i think they're a great late 80's early 90's band...

i also like to listen to a lot of classicial music for some reason, especially waltzes from johann strauss...good stuff to listen to.

I really couldn't list them all here, but here are some of my favorites:

Reel Big Fish
Billy Joel
Elton John
Green Day
Barry Manilow
Barenaked Ladies
Ingram Hill
The Beatles
Frank Sinatra
Big Bad Voodoo Daddies
Squirrel Nut Zippers
B-52s
Cher
Madonna
Reba

The list really goes on and on. I've got a lot of local bands that I'm rather fond of, and I love classical music and good old Broadway Showtunes. I love it all basically. Except Rap and most Country.

Well that depends. The only country artist I really enjoy is Reba. And sometimes the Dixie Chicks. There are the few occasional fun songs that I'd dance too, but thats about it.

I am a big punk/ska quasi fan (depending on the bands), and big band nut as well.

That the case with you as well?

I'm not quite a fan of punk music yet, but I'd like to get into it. What the hey, I'll listen to my Green Day album now. (Are they punk or ska? What would you classify them as? I'm no good at that!)

I would classify Green Day as mainstream punk.

You most certainly need to listen to "Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies" CD "Are a Drag". They are all covers of showtunes, including "Rainbow Connection" (which was featured on Kermit's Swamp Years). Fun stuff!
