There WAS a cartoon Convinving John. I'm 90% sure I saw a cartoon version of him and his back up singers. If anyone from Austrailia has the animated series (I don't know if they released it there yet) I'm sure they could provide a picture or some info.

Well, I may not be from Austrailia, but in the episode that mimicked the one episode in which Mokey was giving out advice to all of the Fraggles, an animated Convincing John was seen, albeit breify.
