What made you frown today?

I sorta half watched the movie honestly. For the most part I sat through it playing a game glancing at the screen occasionally :/

For whatever reason my mom wanted to watch it. She thinks its ok, but she is faaaaar from those "Twilight Moms." Those people must have some issues if they are that obsessed with a book meant for pre teens. I dont even understand why the book is considered an excellent example of pre teen literature

To be honest there were only a small handful of pre teen books that I enjoyed as a kid. Overall I found the genre lacking, even when I was that age. It wasn't until High School that the assigned books in school actually interested me.

Meh, I'm just feeling sad and drained today:sigh: I think it might have something to do that I started out the day reading an e-mail that kind of upset me. I'm over it now and it's not a big deal, but emotional surges like that seem to not wear off easily

I was slated to watch New Girl today and I was preparing the episodes I am going to watch and had them loaded on the browser already only to find out that episode 2 was not working.

It is such a bummer so now, I have to make do with jumping that episode which proved to be significant as it was explained that one of the characters had to go away and be replaced by someone else.

It's a "friendly" thing amongst the d-bags in our school, which accounts for about 76% of the student body.

Realizing that for a dorm full of geeks, everyone seems to think Ms. Pac Man is a Nintendo game. *headdesk*

^ Oh Charlie, I'm so sorry. *hugs* I haven't been there, but I know others who have, and it's not easy. Just hang in there, ok? We're here if you need to talk.

^ Thank you very much, Ozy. I can't say I was shocked to hear this (my parents have been threatening to do this for awhile) but I could sense a finality in my mother's voice when she told me this time that I hadn't heard before. Nobody's family is perfect, but that doesn't mean I didn't want to try and pretend for awhile longer.

Oh wow Charlie, that's terrible *more hugs* I'm sorry that I can't do much more than virtual hugs and praying.

Thank you. I'm still trying to process everything, and I feel rather angry right now at the news, but hopefully time will shed some light on things and I'll feel better.

You know what made me frown?
For christmas, my mom ordered me two Muppet whatnots. Then, a month later, they were out on back order. NOW, I don't get them at all, and I cannot find them at the store!
  14. Gonzo's Hobbit Well-Known Member

    Oh no! What happened?
Guh charlie, I wish I could find you and take you to get ice cream and just talk or something. I can't even begin to explain how upset I am about that (is it okay that I'm upset with you?)
  15. miss kermie Well-Known Member

I don't know what happened! My mom sez that the Whatnots were high on demand!

So my dad has severe sleep apnea and now has to use an oxygen machine (can't remember what they are actually called) when he sleeps. Well, the morons at the doctors office never showed him how to callibrate the thing and when he tried to use it the settings were too high. His lungs could have exploded from all the air being pumped in. Now, why my dad, who is probably just as big of an idiot never bothered to test the thing before he used it I will never know, so it is partially his fault, but the people should have shown him how to set it. Also, they only gave him the one with the nose piece. He really needs a full mask. So between having to worry about him dying in his sleep and his lungs exploding because he can't exhale...just...ugh
  17. Gonzo's Hobbit Well-Known Member

Oh wow, that's great that he didn't actually die. But yea that sounds scary. Has he gotten it figured out yet?
  18. miss kermie Well-Known Member

Oh... That's terrible! Why don't doctors do what they're sposed to? Just pray sarge, and everything will be fine, I promise!
  19. Sgt Floyd Well-Known Member

At he's not going to be using it until he can talk to someone to show him how to use it -_-

If I'm going to get ice cream out of it, then you can be as upset as you'd like! All kidding aside, I do feel a little better this morning after a nice night's sleep, and I am going to see my therapist this morning as well, so hopefully that'll help.
