Those clips were interesting. Though I think I remember the part with the fire hydrant. That bit must have been seen in later episodes.

There were two separate episodes that C-3P0 and R2-D2 showed up on Sesame Street and I think both were aired in 1979. You can also read a review of these episodes at this site

but be warned, there is some foul language used. I've got a video clip of these episodes somewhere and it's pretty cool because it's the raw footage from the episode shoot, so some stuff in there wasn't actually aired. I'll have to dig it up and find it when I get a chance.
