Which Fraggle characters would work well on The Muppet Show?

I personally think the following would work:

Boober (his comic possibilities would be endless. I could see him as a recurring patient on Vet's Hospital, and predicting doom and gloom backstage)

Mokey (She and Janice would get along famously, resulting in more comic mishaps for Floyd, such as his having to care for Lanford AND keep an eye on Animal at the same time.)

Convincing John (This guy would truly be a menace backstage. I could see him as Fozzie's agent, or trying to con Kermit into going out to dinner with Miss Piggy...or being hired by Kermit to finally get Scooter to quit with the "My uncle owns the theatre" bit.)

    Matt,

    Hi,
I think that Wembley would work so well on The Muppet Show, With all his Wemblin' he would make everyone so nervous on stage.

I just know him and Fozzie would work well !

    See ya

I'm gonna have to agree with Boober being on the Muppet Show... why? Cuz more Boober = More good to me!

Here's the Vet's Hospital skit I wrote with Boober as the patient.

ANNOUNCER: It's time once again for "Veterinarian's Hospital", the continuing story of a quack who's gone to the dogs...

JANICE: Here's the next patient, Dr. Bob!

(Rowlf pulls back the sheet to reveal a quivering Boober Fraggle)

ROWLF: I immediately diagnose no more Elvis Presley records for this patient!

    PIGGY: Why, Dr. Bob?

ROWLF: Look at him, he's all shook up!

BOOBER: Do you mind? (produces a long sheet of paper) This is the list of all the diseases I have.

ROWLF: Well, I'll be! Someone who's sicker than the writers of this sketch!

BOOBER: COME ON! I'M REALLY SICK HERE! What kind of a doctor are you, anyway?

ROWLF: What kind do you want me to be?

PIGGY: I've wanted him to be a GOOD doctor for years, but nooooo...

ROWLF: According to your charts, you're in perfect physical condition. However, your mental health is what I'm worried about.

    JANICE: Why, Dr. Bob?

ROWLF: He agreed to do this sketch with us!

ANNOUNCER: And so Dr. Bob has come to grips with the fact that he's one sick puppy. Tune in next time when you'll hear Nurse Piggy say...

PIGGY: The writers of this sketch must eat a lot of pretzels.

ROWLF: Why do you say that?

PIGGY: Well, you are what you eat, and anyone who writes this sketch is pretty TWISTED!

Well, although I don't think Cantus would be a good perminent character on the show, I do think that the Minstrels would be one heckuva guest act!

Kermit: So uh, Cantus, what song will the Minstrels be playing for us tonight?

Cantus: Speak not, young frog, for when the time has come, you shall know.

    Kermit: Oh...um, okay...

[Yes I know that Cantus and Kermit would be a stretch being Jim voiced them both! Don't try to act smarter than oh might Matt!! :D]

    Matt,

Sometimes on The Mupept Show there have been about Four Jim Muppets in the same scene.

    See ya

I have thought Fraggles would work well on the show...and they could go in and out of the theater/in and out of Fraggle Rock whenever they wanted to, through a Fraggle hole in the backstage area...

    Re: Matt,

Oh BlueFrackle trust me I know that. Just for some of the lil kids who want to try to one-up me and such. I am MIGHTY! :D

    - Boober!!! I so agree on Boober!!!
    - Travelling Matt. He'd be like a reporter.
    - Convincing John. Indeed, something like an agent or a coach or whatever. Just another energetic Jim Henson kinda guy.

Convincing John would be AWESOME on TMS!

"Um, Zoot, why are you guys all dressed in leiderhousen?"

"We talked to Convincing John man. He told us the wonders of Polka, man..."

    :D Wooo!!

Boober could also cook with the Swedish Chef

I don' think any of it will work because it's just the dumbest thing I have ever read.
    I'm just saying as anpinang!

If Disney owned them (if they don't already) then they would probably merge them in with the muppets. It could happen so I made the most of it.

Oh I do know you'll understand!

I can truly see Convincing John as a trouble, because of his ability to convince anyone to do anything. The Fraggle 5 would work well on The Muppet Show, as well as the Minstrels.

Yes, I can see him doing that, and then getting frustrated with the strange results that happen whenever the Swedish Chef cooks.

I was just thinking of this!:excited:

Let's see, I've seen Boober, Mokey, Wembley, Traveling Matt, and Convincing John mentioned, even Cantus. No Red? No Gobo?

OK, I'll take a shot at them two.

Red = Weekly quick segments on how-to or safety tips for all sorts of sports. To make it funny, always have a guest star on each one who completely messes up mostly everything Red advises to do during demonstration, therefore, they end up supposedly hurting themselves and those two critics blaming Red for another blundered act, just cause it's what they do.

Gobo = Since he's so good at his three string guitar, I can see him coming out to play a solo and sing a Fraggle tune to the audience each week. Although, is that a jealous Miss Piggy I see lurking in the background to try and mess up his song, just because her's never do go well. But of course, he never messes up and Piggy is on the receiving end of whatever plotting scheme she tried to pull.

I love your ideas, Tom! Were the two hecklers supposed to be Stratler and Wardolf. Ohhh! Red's gonna get mad when they critize her that way. uh-oh! Gobo is the bravest fraggle and he can try to ignore whatever the pig is trying to do to him.
