See, the description I read for "Swedish Heaven and H*ll" said it was not a porn, but a documentary on the seedier side of Sweden.

The song was also used frequently as backing sketch music on "The Benny Hill Show", but it was in instrumental form (except for the "doo doo doo doo doo" part; the "Mahna Mahna" part was played on a saxophone).

jim might have heard it on the radio. i remember playing the song on a capitol records 45 during my first radio job, which would have been late 60s.

i think i still have that disc...no one wanted it after a few plays, so i took it home. it was by no one i've ever heard of before or since. but i thought it was funny even before the muppets gave it a new dimension.

I introduced Mahna Mahna (doo doo doo doo) to my friends along with a whole cd of other sesame street and muppet songs that I burnt. Now, they love Mahna Mahna (doo doo doo doo). When the movie Phenomenon came out, I started singing that to mahn mahna, before I even knew that other people were doing it lol.
