ooh i just want to be an idea person! i can't write to good, but i have an overactive imagination!
love the pepe lawyer idea! i could just see him trying to persuade a female judge!
the kermit fozzie idea is awesome...fozzie can tell jokes to the inmates and we can see our favorite old geezers picking him apart...gotta love 'em....

Yes! It makes much more sense for Fozzie to stand up for Kermit. Now that Fozzie is back in the front lines, use him! But I also like the idea of Kermit being in a suite and Fozzie being in another cell. Fozzie can say "I wish they had hamburgers' and Kermit says "I wish I could finish my steak" The Gonzo and Rizzo break in to save Kermit and Fozzie, Gonzo is caught and spends the movie trying to break out, Rizzo finds Kermit and stays in the suite and eats all the great food. I think Piggy would say take me too but when they say ok she would be like "I was joking ahaha" 
Now that I know it's in Vegas, maybe no court scene, but a Pepe lawyer would be hilarious! Maybe Pepe try's to get information too. He hides on a shrimp platter but when the bad guy picks Pepe up he says "I love shrimp" and Pepe yells at him "I am a King Prawn. ok? How many times do I have to say this... uh oh"
Rowlf should be the piano player for Piggy's act in the night club as well as the one for Jonny. Rowlf and Piggy would share insults of course Um...Scooter! I like the idea of Scooter taking a second job as a delivery boy who unknowingly works for the Mob. It fits him perfectly. I don't know about the Pro and Anti Kermit groups though. That could just get silly. Maybe just leave this case to the muppets.

Oceans 11 Muppet Style
I think the perfect sendoff for any sort of Vegas themed Muppet movie would be Oceans 11. Remember that calendar picture of Fozzie hacking into a computer(The Mission Improbable parody?)
I think you could have a motley crew of like Gonzo with some Brad Pitt slick outfit, with Kermit as the George Clooney character. Piggy would be the Julia Roberts character...maybe Johnny Fiama could be the Andy Garcia character. And then you could have Digit hacking into the casino mainframe. Anyways, just an idea.

OK Scooter I have a whole buch of questions but I'll e-mail them to you.
I think that for now the core group should write up bere bone out lines so we can decide on those and the caracters first before we write up the script.
I also have problems with the casino thing, would it not make more sence for Beauregard, Cheif, and such to work in a kind of home-type bussiness with a few loyal customers, ie: Kermit and gang.
Aalso I think that they should all be a bit younger, like this is before he hires everyone for the muppet show. There would have to be a different motive for the framing, but it would be cool if Beauregard is kind of leaning on his mop listening to Kerm's conversations and takes pity on him, so tries to work the problem out with the kitchen staff

Alright, guys! It'd be great if you could keep posting ideas. So far, most of them have been pretty good!
I don't really like the courtroom idea, but everyone else seems to. We'll keep it in, but probably won't take up a lot of time as we do have a lot of story to cover.
