Well ya they did the same thing with Piggiy when she was on the Today show promoting the first Studio DC. Personaly it would seem to me harder to perfrom a puppet with no neck beacuse insteed of just turning the head you would almost have to turn the whole puppet.

I know we tend to rag on the puppets a little bit. I do that too. Everyone has there own moments when they thought a particular character looked the best. However, the continuity of quality wasn't always that good in TMS. MT was actually better at that.

I do think that Piggy's lack of neck movement on some appearances has been odd, but I am much more disappointed in her eye placement sometimes. There was a Martha Stewart episode where the eye focus made her look so empty and puppety. DC seems to be doing a better job sith that. And Scooter (aside from the neck) looks pretty fantastic! ;)

*sits up* What? Muppets? Back? Who are they? *shakes head* Oh sorry. Almost forgot about who the Muppets were. But they are back...again? *faints from to much excitment*
*unfaints* Whoa! I never knew i could do that. Thanks. I'll try not to over excit myself. *jumps for joy*
I was thinking the samething. It sounds so much like Baby Bear. Don't see why but i would reather have that Ricky dude back. He did a good job i think on Scooter's voice. But i'm not the person in charge but good to see Scooter back in.

Agreed! And now that I know it's David Rudman doing the voice I can TOTALLY tell. :p It's got a very apparent Baby Bear inflection to it--but I'm not complaing! I think Scooter sounds awesome! KEEP RUDMAN AROUND TO DO THIS MORE!

There is a problem with that though. He is heavly involved with SS, and i think it would be like with Kevin Clash SS would come first. So for untill they get the right person for the job it may go betewen Ricky Boyd and David.

Am I the only one who thinks that Piggy's movements (and singing) during the Cheetah Girls Commercial are really awkward to look at and hear?

I think it's classic Miss Piggy stuff. I think it's supposed to look like that--do you realize that she's exhausted from dancing so much in the song? I think that might be what's confusing you.

Not bad. I liked the laugh track they added too. Very reminiscent of "The Muppet Show{ and "Muppets Tonight"

Haha I figured that's why you thought it was awkward... I thought it was really funny.

So for the past ten minutes or so I've been listening to Janice's line from the original Studio DC trying to figure out WHO is performing her... I still can't get it. I'm FAIRLY certain it's David Rudman... but I just can't put my finger on it. Any thoughts?

I'm fairly certain Jerry Nelson dubbed Floyd's line... Jim Lewis nearly confirmed my suspiscion on that one, but couldn't say who played Janice.

Here's a link to the clip, Janice speaks around 0:47... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oQQRbnp-kU

Anyone know if Disney plans on releasing the Almost Live specials on an official DVD?

I recorded the first one and I'll record the second one, but I'm sure the picture quality would be much better on an official DVD. ;)

I hope Disney plans on releasing Studio DC on DVD. You can suggest titles to be released on DVD here.

That WOULD make me very very happy :D

And I can't wait for the next DC Almost Live, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are awesome, and the commercial looks hilarious (Miss Piggy getting tired out and Demi Lovato singing with Beaker... genius!)

    Link is :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_DC
I was posting on my DS, to explain lack of caps, and spelling, and link.
I realise its Wikipedia, and not to be trusted, but after i read that, and listened to Janice again, it started becoming a little more obvious.
And i swear i didnt put that there myself lol.

Well at first when i saw the show for the very first time I thought that it was Jerry Nelson doing Folyd. I thought though that they took something Jerry had done way back when durring the Muppet Show or one of there movies. Jerry maybe comming back that is if he is heatly, and that would be sweet. Janice however is something that i can't get, and it kind of bugs me. I am really the type that trys to listen to all the Muppet voices and point out who is doing what. Janice has me stumped, and before i knew who was doing The Newsman i was got on that one as well.
