All I can say is... wow... deja vu..., but then again, since the Muppets are with Andrea Bocelli, they were bound to do a repeat performance from Great Performances.

I wish they were in an interview segment too, but it was still cool.

But hey, This kinda shows that the Muppets might be going back to doing actual performances on Variety shows like they use to in the 60's and 70's. ;)

Meh. The Muppets didn't have much to do (except criticize A.B.'s performance... in a nice way).

And then Jay Leno shakes Andrea's hand and runs over to the piano player, but doesn't even acknowledge the Muppets. Ouch.

I was saying the samething. Poor Muppets and Jay getting right in front of the camera but also his show was kinda rushed too. So i don't blame Jay at all. But awsome performance by Andrea Bocelli and The Muppets. *stands up and claps for both*

I thought I saw Jay give Kermit a brief little rub on the head? Of course, I could be mistaken.

Now that you mention it i did remember seeing Jay give a little hand shake with Kermit. I'm just saying his showed was rushed a little.

Well, it was the end of the show, and they HAVE to make room for the commercials, because they can have commercials run overtime, but not the actual programs.

Did anyone else notice that Gonzo was looking more like his early 90's self? Kind of how he looked in MCC, as opposed to the "fatter nose" Gonzo as of late.

    I thought Jay Leno "retired."

No... Jimmy Fallon took over Conan's show, so Conan took over Jay's show, so NBC gave Jay a new show.

You could definitely tell that the number was rushed, and Andrea definitely looked annoyed during the whole thing. ( I don't blame him, I would have been annoyed too)

Although I agree with many that it would have been nice to see more Muppets in or throughout the Leno show, I was thrilled to see them making any appearrance on late night TV, just as I was to see them on Jimmy Fallon. I thought the back and forth jokes-turned appreciation of A. Boccellis voice was comical in a very classic Muppet way. I also hope they make more primetime TV appearrances to make up for the lack of a current "Muppet Show":)
