Trending usually means viewership, this is exciting!
Does ABC still let you watch The Muppets the day after, or do they do that passive aggressive thing where you have to wait a week and a day because of something the cable companies force them to do? I think they pull that crap with Agent Carter, which frankly I'm actually a tiny bit more annoyed about since its a serial that needs to be watched in order.
But glad to see that it's getting nice reception around here.
I'm hoping that #UnveilTheTail trends high enough on Twitter for real.
Not really when you consider we've seen him in the buffski before. Remember his proud lil' moment from MOz?
Uh, wardrobe malfunctions have never really lost their relevance, they pretty much happen almost all the time anymore, so much so that people have kind of come desensitized to them. That, and a lot of the time, they happen on purpose anyway.
Nice little nod to Jim Henson when Piggy referred to Kermit as "Our Fearless Producer".
My review of A Tail of Two Piggies:
I just have to say this is a very inspiring episode of being proud of who you are and not being ashamed about it. It was also the coolest one featuring my fave rock icon, Joan Jett, singing Bad Reputation on "Up Late with Miss Piggy"! I consider it a big "forget you!" to people trying to censor people from doing what they wanna do. It felt really good if I say so myself. Here are the highlights I found entertaining.
Piggy's tail being exposed for the first time during the "Zootopia" promotion. I thought it looked cute.
Uncle Deadly comforting Piggy about her dilemma, even closing the curtains to keep her away from the press. Vultures.
The #UnveilTheTail PSA
The Who Tweeted? Piggy or Kardashian segments
The cast "unveiling the tails". Piggy seems very lucky to have friends that care about her, especially Kermit, and stand by her through the whole scandal
Joan Jett, of course.
And Gonzo's pool party, with Camilla unexpectedly showing up.
In my opinion, this is in fact one of my favorite episodes in the whole show. Can't wait for the next episode!
Whew, it's 8:03pm and Fresh off the Boat is airing, just hoping the primary coverage doesn't break into The Muppets, really hoping.
Loved it! I love it more for the fact they made fun of the extreme PC crowd. They did the "love your body" thing very well and adding a fan that related to what Piggy went through, another plus with this episode, so nice to see Alice perform again. Camilla coming back was a surprise, I wonder what happened after she and Gonzo saw each other again? The house hunting scene was great and Carla stole the scene, kudos to Bill for doing both Carl and Carla! Plus, I figured Ian Ziering would pop up in this episode given his house was featured. I really want to see more episodes like this!
It didn't in New York. I think your safe. The network isn't preempting anything, local stations might.
Thanks for the information.
Yeah ABC pulls that lousy nonsense. You'll have to wait a week, unless you have an account with one of their supported service providers
Please, give this the greatest rating ever. So ignore the other shows and watch the Muppets!
Seriously?! They used to allow you to watch the Muppets the next day.
That was a great episode, much better than Swine Song.
#Unveil the Tail
Sam the Eagle Period, he was hilarious in this episode
Nice jab at One Million Moms, They like to round up.
A fourth angry parent arrived! That's just a guy delivering pizza
PSA was funny
Animal was funny playing the Piggy tweeting game.
Bad Repuation with Joan Jett and the Muppetes
Gonzo jumping off the roof and his suplot with Rizzo and Pepe
Big Mean Carla
Statler and Waldorf finally say something funny.
More Fozzie, he hasn't been given a plot in ages.
Barely any Rowlf
Seems like the point of the previous episode was to write out Denise
Alinda the pig was pretty meh.
Overal the pros greatly outweigh the cons, and this was a great episode, I really am hoping the ratings grew in some form or shape, because this is a show that is very funny and we all need to see more of it.
I loved this episode! Really good plots and hilarious!
Wait... The big red carpet premiere Kermit and Piggy were attending was for Zootopia?
UD voice: Ah, those clever little devils at cross-promotion.
*Still going with the theory that the Ken kept mentioning as dating his mom was Dr. Ken.
Great show now please let the ratings be better.
So who's performing Camilla now? Is it Alice Whatshername who performed her in MWOO, or is it Matt since he's taken over pretty much the majority of Jerry's characters? Just curious about that one.
I agree. I did NOT like that they picked that song. Now I know they sang It's Hard to be Humble on "The Muppet Show." But that was different. The word 'he**' was only used a couple times in that song. But in the song in the last night's show it was throughout the whole song, kind of like when they opened the 2014 Macy's parade singing about the word 'he**.' That really ticked me off. I'm sorry, but I have to go with Sam on this one.
I'm surprised they didn't mention Piggy or Denise. (Even though Denise broke up with Kermit, I think she's still around working for the network. I guess Gonzo and crew don't really know her that well.)
Yeah. I've noticed that the show was delayed too. I was wondering what went on there.
Actually, I didn't have a problem with the song Bad Reputation, it impressed me that they got Joan Jet as the musical guest for the briefest of moments. Have to agree with toughpigs, would be nice if we got these shortened musical performances extended to a fuller version released on youtube.
I still love this show.
Please abc dont cancel it.
