Tim Curry stars in new Henson show

Tim Curry, who recently co-starred with the Muppets in Muppet Treasure Island (1996), has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Television and The Jim Henson Company to star in a new "fish-out-of-water" sitcom, currently titled "The Tim Curry Show".

Curry will also produce. But the Muppet news is that the press release states that the series will feature some surprise Henson characters! Curry recently starred in the 1997 ABC sitcom "Over the Top", which did not fare well in the ratings.
