JHC sweeps Writers Guild Association nominations

It was announced Thursday that The Jim Henson Company had garnered every nomination in the Children's Script section of the Writers Guild Association Awards. The Henson productions Sesame Street, Elmo Saves Christmas and The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss all received nominations with one, one, and three, respectively. Here is the list of nominations:

CHILDREN’S SCRIPT

"Great Mystery of Lake Winna-Bango" ("The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss") - Allan Neuwirth, Gary Cooper, Jim Henson Prods.

"The Bountiful Tree" ("Sesame Street") - Tony Geiss, Children’s Television Workshop

"The Song of the Zubble-Wump" ("The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss") - David Steven Cohen, Jim Henson Prods.
