Bear in the Big Blue HouseTwo more volumes of Jim Henson Home Entertainment's critically acclaimed kid's series "Bear in the Big Blue House" will be released on December 1, 1998, by Columbia TriStar Home Video. Each new volume will carry a MAP price of $12.95 and will contain two episodes of the captivatingly delightful series targeted for the pre-school set and currently being aired on the Disney Channel.

These new releases-- "Bear in the Big Blue House" Volumes 3 and 4-- once again feature the beloved, insatiably curious and cuddly seven-foot bear and his close friends - equally adorable creatures created by the legendary and incomparable Jim Henson Company. Each episode in the series provides children with the opportunity to explore themes of friendship, mutual care, respect and other important ethical values in fun, creative, engaging and entertaining ways. In addition, every program contains several songs including "Hello" and "Goodbye," which help create a storybook structure and a sense of continuity to guide pre-schoolers from episode to episode.

VOLUME 3 - 50 Minutes

Dancin' the Day Away (Theme: Dancing)
Bear shows us different dances such as the "bear cha cha cha," a jig and waltz. Bear teaches Tutter to dance because after all, everybody can dance, even a little mouse!

Listen Up (Theme: Sounds)
Tune in for an earful of adventure at the Big Blue House! Ojo's set up a pretend camp. But something's missing - the sounds of the great outdoors! So, Bear takes his friends on a real camp-out at the Otter Pond. The chorus of critters is music to everyone's ears!

VOLUME 4 - 50 Minutes

I Need a Little Help Today (Theme: Helping)
Bear's got a case of the sniffles and he's taking some quiet time. Now everyone is helping to make him feel better. With all this help, Bear will be back on his feet in no time !

Lost Thing (Theme: Finding)
The search is on at the Big Blue House for Ojo's lost Snowbear! Let no couch cushion go unturned! When her friends make the task of finding her lost toy into a game of Hide-n-Seek, Ojo cheers up and Snowbear turns up!
