The Jim Henson Company, Yoram Gross-EM.TV and the Seven Network have today announced a strategic alliance to co-produce live-action pre-school series Bambaloo (65 x half hours) to air on the Seven Network Australia.

Bambaloo will be shot at Fox Studios Australia in a newly refitted sound stage that has been purpose built for the series by Yoram Gross-EM.TV. There will be unique opportunities for children and families to visit the set and observe the production.

Bambaloo's cast will comprise both human and Muppet-style animal characters that will help children explore the world through story, song and games, while singing and dancing to the latest Bambaloo hits.

In London, Angus Fletcher, President, Jim Henson Television, Europe commented, "We are delighted to be working with our partners Yoram Gross and the Seven Network to produce a series of international potential in Australia. Bambaloo demonstrates the
Jim Henson Company's commitment to producing innovative, creative television for young audiences both locally and internationally".

Geoff Watson, General Manager Yoram Gross-EM.TV, from the Sydney set said, "This is a new and dynamic step for Yoram Gross-EM.TV into the world of live action production and I could not imagine two better partners than the Jim Henson Company and the
Seven Network".

Chris O'Mara, Network Head of Programming and Production for Seven said, "The Seven Network is proud to be co-producing such an innovative and exciting series as Bambaloo with The Jim Henson Company and Yoram Gross-EM.TV - two companies that are re

Angus Fletcher, Geoff Watson and Seven's Lisa Fitzpatrick will be executive producers of Bambaloo. Mellie Buse will serve as Co-Executive Producer and creative advisor and Susan Oliver will be on-set producer.

The Jim Henson Company will handle international distribution of the series and Yoram Gross-EM.TV and the Seven Network will look after Australian and pan-Asian territories.

Bambaloo is a Jim Henson Television/Yoram Gross-EM.TV/ Seven Network Production for the Seven Network.
