From sitting front row at NY Fashion Week to modeling for ultra chic fashion magazines, the Muppets are making their mark by partnering with influential boutique retailers as well as launching their own line-up of vintage tees and accessories.

As seen in the windows of European boutique Colette, Miss Piggy is wearing a Prada couture outfit while lounging on a chaise.

"There's no denying that moi has always had an impeccable sense of style," said Miss Piggy. "Watch out Gwen, your L.A.M.B is about to be bumped by P.I.G.G.Y.!"

Most recently, the chic European boutique, Colette, and the Muppets partnered for an exclusive promotion which included a window featuring Miss Piggy lounging on a chaise wearing Prada couture, as well as the launch of three Muppets tees that feature Kermit, Miss Piggy and Animal. In addition, Colette is carrying other Muppets products such as plush and accessories to celebrate Kermit the Frog's 50th anniversary.

"We are not at all surprised by the success of the Muppets apparel at Colette," said Marc Low, director softlines & home -- Disney Consumer Products France. "While it's only been two weeks since the debut, the tees have been so well received that they will be available at leading department stores in Paris in late summer."

Additional forays into the high-end boutiques include an exclusive Muppets tee -- "Kermit is My Homeboy!" at the "boutique for the stars" Fred Segal Melrose.

"As part of the Muppets re-launch, we are partnering with some of the best names in fashion to bring these beloved characters to life," said Dave Burchianti, director of marketing, The Muppets Holding Company.

Although she IS the Muppets' fashion diva, Miss Piggy will allow Kermit the Frog to join her in two upcoming fashion pubs: Zink magazine and Pop magazine, where the fashionable frog and pig will be dressed in Louis Vuitton. This will mark Piggy's second time to grace the pages of Pop this year, having modeled for a Prada editorial shoot in their spring issue.
