Money matters: Muppet checks return By
Phillip Chapman, Muppet Central In 2002, Image Checks released a very popular set of Muppet check designs and address labels. Unfortunately, Disney did not renew their contract in 2004 and since then writing checks hasn't been nearly as much fun. Thankfully, a new company, Checks in the Mail, is now producing a set of 10 new Muppet designs featuring the classic Muppet Show characters.
There are 10 different check designs including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker, Animal, Waldorf, Statler, the Swedish Chef and Fozzie Bear. The address labels feature the same poses of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal, Gonzo the Great, the Swedish Chef and a group shot of the main characters. The group shot is also available as a leather check book cover. The new Muppet checks and address labels can be ordered on-line from Checks in the Mail.
