Yeah, I was trying to find a female equivalent to "bro" but I hadn't heard anyone really call girls "sis" unless it's actually their sister or if they're in church, lol.

The only female equivilent to "dude" or "bro" I've found is "girlfriend," but obviously, there's a level of awkwardness when you're a guy and you use it in regards to girls . . . except for gay guys, they seem to get a free pass, since saying something along the lines of, "Oh, you know it girlfriend," sounds effeminate anyway.

But sometimes I wonder what the world would be like if guys were allowed to call each other "boyfriend" the way girls call each other "girlfriend."
