Labyrinth is #1 for me. I would love to tell this story to my niece just to freak her out. Can't wait for her next visit so we can watch the movie. When she's being bad, I'll tease her and wish her away to the Goblin King. ;p

I agree; I'd rather not encourage any childhood nostalgia for the prequels, lol. Not enough parents think about these things.

Yeah, some of the stuff I listed I'd wait until they were older. I think I'd wait 'till the enxt generation was 5 or 6 before watching the Star Wars and Back to the Future trilogies, for example. For many years I had been wondering what the best way to expose Star Wars to kids is, in the original chronological order, prequels first and then the original trilogy (which would ruin the ending of The Empire Strikes Back), or in a random order (I think James Rolfe also talked about this predictament in his review of the Star Wars movies). And of course there's the option of whether a parent would refuse to let their kids watch the prequels at all (and I'm sure there's some stick-in-the-mud parents who won't want their kids exposed to the franchsie at all).

I'll admit the thought has crossed my mind. I just don't think the prequels deserve the exposure. To be blunt, I want my kids to know what good movies look like...and what they don't look like, lol.
