Implying Deadspin is clickbait now and moved on from research and content is so far off. The piece(s) on the inner workings of Jason Whitlock's launch of his version of Grantland has been great - as well as Bill Simmons' eventual firing from ESPN. As someone who hates ESPN, I love their content...
Well, that's certainly not what this site is...but whatever. They rank everything from Mad Men characters, to the 50 best Avengers, etc. Deadspin is part of Gawker media, so yeah.
Lists are always a fun, easy read. Here's The Muppets, ranked from Deadspin: http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/muppets-ranked-1704000779?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_facebook&utm_source=deadspin_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't aware it was only a temporary replacement out west. I was just at WDW, but I don't pay too close attention to the happenings at Disneyland.
Brian Jay Jones was a guest last night on The Last Hurrah's podcast celebrating the life of Jim Henson. I was there at the taping and recommend giving it a listen if you can.

My daughter was born on opening day, so it took me a while to get to see this, but my wife, my daughter and my mom went and saw it yesterday.
We all really enjoyed it. I liked that this was less focused on the human actors than the 2011 film. A little more Chef and Rowlf would have been a...
Put in an order for Rowlf and the Swedish Chef. I really wanted to find them in the stores, but I tried another Disney store last night and they didn't have a single Muppet item at all. Ordering was the most assured way to land these two.
My local Disney store didn't have them in yet when I went last night, which was a bummer. But Piggy was on sale for $7 from the last movie, so at least it wasn't a wasted trip.
Came across this video of DisneyVision Zoetrope which features Kermit. Those lights would make me dizzy after a short while, but it looks interesting in short doses...
Not really a fan of Lady Gaga, but that's because the music she performs isn't up my alley. But I couldn't careless that the Muppets are appearing with her in a Christmas special -- I don't really get why there's been some really negative reaction across the Internet about this. The more Muppets...
Finished the book Saturday night. I was very impressed with it. While I knew about a lot that was talked about in the book already, it was nice to read things in more detail and with quotes from those close to Jim. This is definitely a book I will be recommending to my friends and family who may...
My copy came last night; and I just finished "The Mucking Fuppets" chapter. I can't wait to get into the "Muppetmania" chapter next. The book's been very enjoyable so far. The book's really hit on how dedicated Jim was to his work, and how he never gave up on the dreams he wanted to accomplish -...
Roger Langridge did free black and white sketches at the Baltimore Comic-Con this past weekend. I was thrilled with the Rowlf he drew for me.

I find Impractical Jokers pretty funny on truTV. When I first saw preview for the show, I didn't think it looked entertaining, but I laugh pretty hard at some of the gags.
Grant Morrison's seven-year run on Batman ended yesterday. It was an epic run. He's by far my favorite Batman writer. He's a polarizing figure in the comics world, so you'll see about half the people glad he's done with Batman, and the other half saddened...
I like Batman Begins the most from the Nolan trilogy, but I think - need to see it again, though - that Man of Steel will rank right below that for me, and right above The Dark Knight Rises.
And I very much liked that the film stayed away from the wink and nod.
