What was the last DVD you bought and why?

No. Just the standard DVD. (I've bought the movie on iTunes, but hadn't bought the DVD yet.) There still hasn't been an OFFICIAL announcement for The Intended Cut yet. Just Frank Oz mentioning it at a panel last fall and the MPAA saying that a cut by that name exists.

Your Thoughts: "Being Elmo" Kevin Clash documentary on DVD and PBS

I loved it! And, being the out-take/blooper/out-of-character :fanatic: that I am, I loved the bit at the beginning when Elmo bit the cheese and threw it across the room. The phrase "You wanna a piece of Elmo!" needs to be the battle-cry for all Elmo supporters. :)

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

Being the manly-muppet that I am, I watched this and tried to get through it without crying, but when Carroll's voice cracks when he sings "big like a mountain", I got a tear, and I completely dissolved into a weeping 5 year old when he says "Thank you Kermit."

    "Little Shop of Horrors" thread

Considering the fact that the movie was directed by Miss Piggy, the original Audrey II was built by Snuffy, and Kermit's son worked on the film, I guess a a general Little Shop of Horrors thread is only natural. :) This is by far my favorite movie and, I think, the best musical.... Ever. I...

HA! It looks like they're all resting, stretching, and warming-up for the rest of the dance number! :)

    Let's see your Whatnots

Is it just me, or is only the green body avalible on the FAO Schwarz website? I want one, but I want something to chose from other than green. (Though I would probably get it.)

    S.U.D.S. on the Nerdist Channel

I think Farscape is gonna be repackaged and released in Webisodes, and Henson is gonna work on Neil Patrick Harris Dreaming in Puppets. I think there's something I'm forgetting, but that's most of it for right now.

    How can someone hate Elmo?

I've never quite understood the backlash against Elmo, though that may be because I watched the show after he was introduced. I understand he can be a bit hyper/ADD-ish, but I have seen plenty of kids like that. So, why do you love or hate this cute little monster? :) And please be civil.

    Muppet Voice Impressions

Hey! I can do an impression of Miss Piggy! True, it's Richard Hunt's Miss Piggy, but it's Miss Piggy nonetheless.

When will The Muppet Show Seasons 4-5 and Muppets Tonight arrive on DVD?

It probably has to do with music rights issues/marketing reasons. The DVD set for The State was delayed for years because of it. MTV refused to talk about it for years, season one was released digitally in 2006 (with a new score/soundtrack), a DVD was announced by David Wain in 2007, followed by...

TV Alert: Miss Piggy on Fashon Police March 30

One of the best Piggy interviews I've seen. This is right up there with the Johnny Carson interview for (ironically) TMTM. And Piggy's reaction to Joan calling her "a b*tch" is priceless!

    Favorite Muppet

My favorite Sesame Street muppet is between Elmo and Big Bird. There's just something about them that just says "innocent," which fits perfectly fits for the show. As far as my favorite Muppet muppet, it's between Kermit and Beaker. Kermit is the only sane one in this group of crazies, trying...

    Little things we've noticed

It's not really a visual thing, but it took me a few viewings, and a pair of headphones, to notice it. During "Life's a Happy Song", if you listen, Walter screams "Not again!" when Gary accidentally launches him off the seesaw. (Which leads to the question "If this has happened multiple times...

Speculation: Potential Sequel for "The Muppets"

And maybe, Disney will decide to have more Muppet releases, to try and cash in as much as possible. #FingersCrossedForTMSSeason4!

TV shows you wish would come back

YES! The format change was the reason I stopped watching for about 5 years. I recently got back into it, but I wish it was the way it used to be. Though they still come up with some good bits, like this: "Satan's A Noob" Also, I wish Reno 911 was still on the air (the series finale was a bit...

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

The first time in months that I put Stephen Lynch on shuffle, while The Muppets is playing in the background and I'm in the middle of my Muppet obsession, and what plays? "Craig Christ"? "Gay?" "Best Friends Song (I Wanna Bang Your Sister)"? Nope! The first song that comes on is "Jim Henson's...

"Hidden Messages" in The Muppets (2011)

During Intermission Mode on the Blu-Ray, Fozzie comes up to the camera, breaths on it, and wipes it off with a cloth; when he fogs it up with his breath, I saw something written in it. However, I grabbed my remote too late and couldn't go back to see what it was. Edit: I decided to play...
