Hey everybody,
I was wondering if there was any puppeteers in the Kansas City area? It would be awesome to meet up with some other puppeteers from the area to share ideas on builds and maybe setup a show. It would at least be cool to see other projects everyone has done.
Thanks,
-Josh
Thanks for the idea Justagreenfrog. I actually attempted to make a kermit puppet a while ago but couldn't quite get the head right. But he turned out to be a great normal frog! If you have any tips for kermit, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
-Josh
Hey guys,
I haven't been on here in a while, but I finished school for the summer and have a huge amount of free time. So, I came back here wanting to start a new project and I couldn't decided on what to do. Do you guys have any suggestions? I am up for anything as long as it is not too...
I actually used a Kermit pattern that I found on here and tweaked with about 4or 5 different designs so I they would be different.
Here is the pattern I found, hopefully I don't get into trouble posting this. Haha

Haha, I think I will finish the little one and I noticed that they don't use any foam of the body on Robin. So I will probably do the same.
And for the orange one, I started working on him but I ran out of the upholstery foam I was using, so again he is on the back burners.
Thanks for all...
Here is my finish frog. I think he looks a lot like Kermit from when the Muppet show was on. Minus the eyes and no collar. Haha.
But I think he is looking pretty good. I may add legs later once I can match the fleece color again, I ran out of his material during production and had to improvise...
I actually bought them from Out of the Box Puppets. I got a set of eyes for $2.50
Here's the link to the website. http://www.outoftheboxpuppets.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=166 :)
Thanks for the ideas guys!
I will try and take back on the jowls. I think when I enlarged the pattern, I must have gone too far on that, cause the red was an enlarged copy of the little green one. Haha.
Ya I've never worked with the old antron, but I am just struggling with the new stuff. It's almost easier for me to hide it with just polar fleece. Probably because the antron fleece I bought didn't really dye solidly, so you can notice the seam through the color difference.
Ya, I noticed that I can do just as well at hiding the seam with the polar fleece.
And I will have to try machine dying it.
Thanks for all the help guys!

Here is a 2 frog heads I've been working on.
The orange one was suppose to be a Kermit type replica. From the side I think he looks pretty close, but I've had some issues getting his front close. If anyone has any ideas on how to make him or another model closer to Kermit I'd love to here it...
Well I talked to the people I bought the fleece from and they said that I had to keep the water at boiling temperatures for a half hour for the fleece to be the color I want. I'm not sure if that should matter or not and I don't know if I will be able to keep it that hot that long in the plastic...
Ya, I think your right TheCreatureWork. I left my fleece in the dye for 2 days and its still not quite there.
I will defiantly talk to the people I got the fleece from and see if they are having similar issues or even if they have different methods of dying.
Thanks for all the help!
Hey guys,
So I recently got my first batch of antron fleece the other day and started dying it today, but I'm having some issues. I dyed it based on RIT Dye's website Green 3 #579.

When I finished dying it, the smooth inside looks...
