I remember I was in French class, and I think they announced it over the PA, and most of the class was really surprised.

I was actually working as an extra that day and some crew members were milling about talking about it. I had no idea what was going on until after the fact. (wasn't all that news savvy at that time in my life obviously).

The verdict came in just before I left for work that October 3rd day. Whatever you think about OJ's guilt or innocence, you just have to feel bad for the Brown and Goldman families for the losses of Nicole and Ron. I especially had empathy for Ron's father, Fred.
