Hi Guys,
Well......it's been a week since my Puppetry Club has performed it's 3rd annual show. It was a success. This year instead of performing a single night, we performed 2 nights! Friday April 18th & Saturday April 19th.
This production has been our best show yet! After learning what works & what doesn't with the previous shows we've gotten our format down in terms of writing, building schedule & staging. We had more Variety in this show than the others---We had a special performance by the Spanish and Latino Student Association (SALSA Club) and a Really cool Hula-Hoop Act. We also performed table-top puppets and shadow puppets. The Shadow Puppet performance was a Big hit.
Here's our set--It has our logo in the center & framed posters from previous shows.

So the Cool thing about having all the characters have Live hands is after the show---People wanted them to sign the programs & take pictures with them---It's one of the things I aimed for.------Also since I'm graduating this year I named the President & Vice-Presidents at the end of the show.----Turning over power is really tough.....sheesh.....but I have confidence in them.
I'm going to CalArts next year for puppetry.
