40th Anniversary merchandising hopes

Since we're already talking about the 40th anniversary, let's get right into merchandising hopes...

1. More gund plushes- Much like the 35th, featuring older characters for collectors. I would love them to rerleases some of them (like Guy Smiley) while making newer ones like the Count, Telly Monster, and the Two Headed monster.
2. Series 2 Sesame Street Pez- Grover, Oscar, and Count (at least)
3. Another book, like Sesame Unpaved, only updated and with more stuff in it
4. An actual action figure line taking off and getting at least 4 good series
5. A line of old school style PVC figurines that include rare characters like Sherlock hemlock, The 2 Headed Monster, and Benny Rabbit
6. CD/ MP3 rereleases of old LP's, including a collection of singles

Those are some really good choise Dtooth. I would buy all of these ideas. We really need older stuff of the music that hasn't ever been released. And a action figure line too. Older stuff for us fans who grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s too.

Perhaps some sort of special DVD release, though if it's meant to celebrate the 40th anniversary I think that it should be more special than the Old School releases (maybe a four-disc set with more episodes). Or maybe two Old School sets can be released that year. I'd also like a new book, similar to Sesame Street Unpaved, and a new CD set, simlar to Songs from the Street. I'll make lists of what I'd want included later.

Perhaps the 40th anniversary would be a good time for Sesame Workshop and DK books to come out with Sesame Street: The Ultimate Visual Guide. Assuming that new books are being made in that series.

And a multi-part miniseries would also be nice.
