Who thinks that The Disney Channel should have a 48-hour marathon celebrating the 50th anniversary of Kermit The Frog? It could have a variety of things, plus new bumpers featuring various muppet characters made especially for the marathon.

5:00 AM- The Muppet Show (Juliet Prowse)
5:30 AM- The Muppet Show (Connie Stevens)
6:00 AM- The Muppet Revue
7:00 AM- John Denver and The Muppets: Rocky Mountain Holiday
8:00 AM- Muppet Babies (Raiders of The Lost Muppet)
8:30 AM- Muppet Babies (the epsiode where Kermit plans to visit Robin)
9:00 AM- Muppet Babies (Muppet Babies: The Next Generation)
9:30 AM- Muppet Babies (the episode where Kermit was president)
10:00 AM- The Muppets Go Hollywood

some after thoughts

Having listed my idea, here are a few more ideas....

Perhaps this could also include some of the Muppetisms and Muppet Time segments between programs.

Maybe some Muppet Meeting Films and Statler and Waldorf: From The Balcony episodes could also be included between programs.

It would be gret if Disney could work out a deal with Henson to include some episodes of Sam & Friends, as well as Emmit Otters Jug-Band Christmas and The Christmas Toy (Of course, if Hit! currently has any say in television broadcasts of TCT and EOJBC, then Hit! might teach Disney a lesson for not allowing kermit in those specials by not allowing Disney to brodcast those).

It would be great if Disney would make a deal with Sesame Workshop to broadcast The Best of kermit on Sesame Street and Big Bird's Storytime, as well as various Kermit clips from Sesame Street during commercial breaks.

It would be really great if Disney could get permission to broadcast the Tonight Show episode that Kermit hosted.

Another thing that would be good to include would be various Muppet music videos. maybe I'm Gonna Always Love You could be shown during commercial breaks shown during The Muppets Take Manhattan and Muppet Babies, Love Power could be shown duing commercial breaks for Muppet treasure Island and the behind-the-scenes special and the sing-along, She Drives me Crazy could be shown in commercial breaks during The Kermit and Miss Piggy Story, and Kokomo, Wipe Out, and Keep Fishing could be shown anytime.

I only see one problem.

I would probably lose eyesight after sitting in front of a TV for two days.
