It will be steep for collectors like you guys and myself, but just hear me out, you guys will like this idea.

In September of this year, George Lucas, whom we all know as a man who will market everything and its grandfather, released Star Wars: The Complete Saga to blu-ray featuring all six films and all the special features on three extra discs.

I figure Disney could do a similar set for the Muppet movies, collector's edition Muppet movie blu-ray set, digitally remastered, picture restoration (which, being blu-ray, is a given anyway), blah, blah, blah, featuring

The Muppet Movie
The Great Muppet Caper
The Muppet Christmas Carol
Muppet Treasure Island
Muppets Wizard of Oz
Muppets Letters to Santa
The Muppets

I figure the seven discs could feature special features such as:

All the Muppet specials (Go Hollywood, Go to the Movies, The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show, Family Christmas, Celebration of 30 Years, etc., etc., etc.)
All of their crossover appearances in the real world, like when Kermit hosted the Tonight Show
Their Internet specials, i.e. Statler and Waldorf in the Balcony
Footage from the stage show
Jim Henson Hour episodes
The Disneyland 35th anniversary special's sketch featuring Gonzo and Miss Piggy
et al

What about it, huh, guys?

There's already a rumor that a "Muppets movie" collection will come to blu-ray on May 24 (we'll see if that's true).

In September of this year, George Lucas, whom we all know as a man who will market everything and its grandfather, released Star Wars: The Complete Saga to blu-ray featuring all six films and all the special features on three extra discs.
George Lucas won't market The Star Wars Holiday Special. Also, did you mean it comes out september of next year, or that it already came out last september (as you may or may not tell, I haven't paid any attention to existing Star Wars blu-ray releases).

blu-ray.com actually has a listing for that set and Tough Pigs.com said they'd look into it.
