Believe it or not, I recall one early 90s episode (regular, not a holiday or anniversary special) which aired no clips about a specific letter or number until the last 15-20 minutes. After being kept in suspense for so long, I wondered whether the writers were going for another "brought to you today by the entire alphabet" or "...by the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5..." episode. No such luck, as it turned out...
