    Hey All,

While the Forum has been a little slow lately, we reached another record the other day. We had the most users ever online at a single time, a 130 to be exact on 10-21-2002 at 01:41 PM. How cool is that!!!! Not to forget that we are 4 members away from having 1000 members on MC. Props to all.

It doesn't actually mean that 130 people were online at the same time though. These forum scripts keep people 'online' for upto an hour after they leave the site - at that point all the 'unread' envelopes change to 'read' ones in the new topics list and if you return, it's then another seperate visit. So it's a kind of hazy indication.

4 members off 1000 is a very cool one though !

That reminds me of a gag on "Trigger Happy TV" that's been playing on Comedy Central recently.

In one, after a person goes into a pay toilet, a camera crew, band, MC, and a large crowd of people with banners and such all gather around to honor the toilet user as she exits as the "1,000,000th Toilet User."

In another one they stand outside an adult/porn shop to applaud the "1,000,000th Customer" who comes out and runs away.
