I think when Postcards from Buster first came out in 2004, that's when it became clear the series was now officially a cash cow.

You don't get the 24 hour PBS Kids channel at all?
Yeah, but after they duped us by making us think they were going to air classic seasons, then adopted the regular PBS schedule with modern seasons, I lost interest.

Here’s some good news:

The PBS Kids channel is airing some classic episodes this week instead of modern ones. Season 10 is up first followed by Season 5.

I doubt it.

PBS will do its best to keep the series going, I'm sure. If a show has been airing for over 20 years, then chances are it's not going to end.

PBS has been gradually doing away with ARTHUR over the past couple of years. My PBS doesn't even air it at all anymore. And at least three different voice actors, including the original Arthur himself (who now voices Slink) have tweet-hinted that the show is finally coming to an end.

I was talking to my dad (who also likes the show) just the other day about this and he said that everybody has probably moved on by now.
