I rang Forbidden Planet in Bristol who told me they have had the playset in stock now. They told me it is £44.99, seems expensive, I know its large but surely there is much more to the Swedish playset with all thoses accesories? Is this the price we were expecting to pay??

It's being sold for $50 in the US.

50 is a fair price. I just got my playset and it is huge and highly detailed. It's also very accurate. It comes with a fair amount of accessories as well. This is a set that does not need accessories to work. It comes with just enough. Anything else that wcould have been added is something that already comes with another figure.
