Chilly Down Lyrics

Ok, so I know you guys will be able to help me with this....
I was driving down to work, listening to the Labyrinth soundtrack, and when "Chilly Down" came on, and I attempted to sing along, I realized I just can't figure out what the lyrics are. (I know some of them, but I want to know them all!)

Anyone care to enlighten me?

That isn't exactly the same as it is on the movie. The first lyric you listed is not on the movie.

My copy of the soundtrack doesnt have a booklet.
They did just re-release it out here though and now it does have a booklet... no lyrics though

These lyrics are pretty good, but I think there are quite a few mistakes...I have made some corrections for you all
Mainly 'wild gang' should be 'fire gang' hence that's why they are red and dancing around the fire!
Also towards the end they say 'likkle' not 'little' because they are jamaican/rastas and 'likkle' means 'little' in Patois, "yuh-yuh" is also a jamaican phrase.
And the "when your thing gets wild" is mean, when you get crazy, you need to chill out with the fire gang...
I wasn't too sure about the 'bad food" part, I thought it was 'bad news' cause 'good times, bad news' is a comman phrase, but he definately says "Bleh!" which is a sound made when tasting nasty food

Always loved that song. Do you have any idea who performs the Fireys? I think Kevin Clash was one, but I'm unsure of the rest. Any help would be appreciated!

It definately says "bad food" on the DVD.

Well I just watched the movie with the captioning turned on...and it's WILD GANG not FIRE GANG...man and I was so sure it was fire gang, cause that made more sense...

Also it is BANG HEADS not BAD HEP

And it is "Aint got no real-estate or jewelry or gold mines to hang me up" like Sylindebren originally posted. So if I can edit my original post I will to make the corrections.

I need to watch it again too more closely to see what else they say different if I missed anything....

If you listen to them they DO say 'fire gang'. It was just a mistake made by the people (or computer) that captioned it.

I've seen several DVD's with small mitsakes like that.

We need a Firey smiley.

Toby Philpott played the one that pulled it's eyes out, i was geeking out with him over Labyrinth and Dark Crystal and he said that particular fiery is a big fan favorite and he didn't really know why.
