After what seemed like an eternity, I was finally able to find proper polyfoam at Jo-ann. However, I think the foam that I bought may be too thick. The foam is about an inch in width and is about a yard and a half long. I just wanted to know if I should cut the foam down and if so how.

Jo-Ann also has half-inch thick foam.
